Romanian Ministries Update

Dear Philippian Fellowship Friends,

Thank you for your faithfulness with prayer and support in December and January.

Even in the midst of COVID restrictions, the Lord has allowed us to have some effective opportunities for ministry!  Church services are back to normal (with precautions), my religion class at the public schools is meeting once again, Kristin’s ladies Bible study continues, and my discipleship of 11 young men is ongoing!  Praise His name!

We were excited to be together for Christmas this year here in Romania with the whole Ziemer family!  Corina returned from Liberia mid-December.  Zach and Alexa surprised us a few days later to make our family Christmas complete!  We value these special moments as they do not occur very often!  If you like surprise videos, Zachary made one of their Christmas visit.  You can view it here:

We had kids klub during the month of December, and then after Christmas took a group of 72 to Camp Eli.  We gave out Christmas shoeboxes in our different ministry locations, then we followed it up with a 12 lesson Bible study.  We started these lessons during our time at Camp Eli.  We changed the teaching style this year and had our young people teach the lessons to smaller groups of children. What a blessing to watch many that we have invested in, now teaching the Word of God to the next generation!

Camp Eli also hosted a group of young married families at the end of December, and then the teens from Hope Baptist in Fundulea for New Years!  It was a blessed time to be together and reflect on the good hand of the Lord over the past year!

Lord willing the Mission house interior will be painted next week, as well as doors installed.  The kitchen cabinets will be installed after the completion of the floor tile work. We have started on the bathrooms also and will be soon starting the garage/utility/furnace room area!  Thanks so much for your generous gifts to make this project a reality!
