The board of directors of The Philippian Fellowship has established the following criteria, which must be met prior to our decision to support a pastor or ministry leader.
The pastor or ministry leader must have a definable financial need.
The pastor or ministry leader must be a citizen of the nation/country where ministering.
If a pastor, he must be a male and reside and preach in an area with a full time pastoral requirement, and be fluent in the language of his congregation.
Applicants must be recommended for consideration by one of the members of the Philippian Fellowship board.
The pastor or ministry leader must demonstrate a strong testimony as a Christian and must exhibit personal integrity in all relationships.
The ministry and their leadership must uphold and embrace The Philippian Fellowship Statement of Faith. If the pastor or ministry leader is willing to accept financial support they must also agree to be held accountable regarding the distribution of funds as agreed upon in their sister-church like relationship.
The ministry leadership must be willing to support and develop the sister-church like relationship.
All applications for sponsorship are considered directly by The Philippian Fellowship board of directors. Information is gathered by written data and recommendations as well as personal interviews.
